You play with 32 cards in the usual four suits, values 1 to 8. 8 of Clubs is the highest cards, followed by 8 of Spades, 8 of Diamonds and 8 of Hearts, and so on till 1 of Hearts. In case of cards of the same value, the deciding order is Clubs, Spades, Diamonds, and Hearts. Each player has eight open cards and eight tricks are played, all play their cards simultaneously. The first trick is taken by the highest card played; in the next tricks the highest or lowest cards wins, depending if, in the previous trick, the highest or lowest card had the same color or not. For scoring, each trick is worth 1x1 = 1 points, two consecutively taken tricks are worth 2x2 = 4 points, and so on. You win, if you are first to acquire 88 points.
