You collect cards for a continuous story and must escape the mouse trap. Color cards are laid out for stories in relation to player numbers, the stack of cards is prepared, the game box is set out for the mouse trap and you are dealt five cards. In a turn, you draw a card and may add cards to the story lines underneath the color cards, always starting with 1 or a joker. If you cannot place at least one card, you roll a die: For 1 or 2, you may draw that number of cards; when you draw a trap card you put your mouse into the trap. There can always be only one mouse in the trap. The trap symbol on the die frees a mouse from the trap. If it is your turn and your mouse is in the trap, you may roll three times, the trap symbol frees the mouse. If you complete a story without joker in it, you win and may tell the story.
