Festival der Farben

 

We present fireworks, using event cards and six sand timers in six colors, with run times from 30 t0 80 seconds. An event card is on display, all are dealt fireworks cards accordingly and timers are placed standing up or lying down. At the start all standing timers are turned over, then – in turn – you play one card on your discard pile, turn the depicted timers over or start them if lying, and draw a card. The timer on the count-down track is the main color, and should reach the last slot on the track, but can only be moved when run-down. All other timers should not run down; if that happens, one audience marker is turned over to “bored”. The game is won if the main color arrives at the end of the track, and it is lost when the third audience marker is turned to “bored”. Events #2 to #28 are grouped to festivals of three events with similar rules, it is recommended to play them in the order given in the festival guideline.
