Tainted Grail
In a dark version of Avalon, Arthur robbed the gods of Avalon of the Grail and their lands; as one of four heroes you need to stop the vanishing of the land and uncover more riddles; heroes win and lose together. One day in Avalon represents one round of the game – at dawn, phase I, you do administration and an event card is revealed. During the day, phase II, you spend your hero’s energy for actions. At the end of the day, phase III, you can rest, recuperate, read dreams, and improve your card deck. Actions are explore, travel, location action, character action, examine menhir or pass. Food, wealth, reputation, experience, and magic are resources. Characters can act as a group, and have values for energy, health, and fear; each character also has a negative trait. Character attributes are paired and can be improved: aggression/compassion, courage/caution, pragmatism/spirituality.
