Space Cadets Resistance Is Mostly Futile
As a Bridge Officer on a spaceship - Helmsman, Engineer, Weapons Officer, Shield Officer, Sensors Officer or Captain - you must cooperate and complete special tasks to finish the mission successfully. A round comprises: Conference and energy allocation (3 minutes) - preparation - action (30 seconds) - evaluation - tractor beam (30 seconds) - weapons (30 seconds) - enemy actions - jump (30 seconds) and repairs (30 seconds). Missions can be chosen from three levels of difficulty; all win together when the mission goal is achieved, or lose together when the ship is destroyed. The expansion introduces new missions, map obstacles and enemies and also includes missions for two players. There is also the Science Officer as a new crew member - he can always help with his inventions, but at detriment to the ship.
