Otter Nonsense!

 

Card sets 1-13 + 2 special cards are prepared, three cards are displayed; the rest is dealt evenly to all, an eventual rest is set aside. In your turn you place a card, take a column or play your last card. If you place a card, it must follow ascending or descending order in a column or be equal to the last card there. If you cannot play a card, you take a column and give one card from it to the previous player for points equal to the otter heads on it. The remaining cards are added to your hand and you play one to begin a new column. If you play your last card, you must take the longest column and take a card yourself for points; if there are only 2 or fewer cards in each column, you win instantly. Whoever collects 7 points first, wins.
