Mau mau!! Das Original

 

Mau Mau as we know it - 72 number cards, 1 to 9 twice in green, blue, red and yellow, plus 32 special cards for Change direction, Take 4!, Take 2! and Stop!, twice in the four colors, plus six Color Change cards. You begin with five cards, one card begins the discard pile. You either discard a card of the same number or of the same color as the previous card; if you cannot do that, you draw a card. If you play a special card, the next player must meet its condition; for the Color Change card you name a color he must play. If you discard your last-but-one card, you say „mau“, if you discard the last card and win, you say „mau mau“. If you forget this, you draw a card. If you win, you have 0 points, all others add the value of their cards. After the agreed number of rounds, you win with fewest points.
