Funkenschlag/Power Grid was published in 2001; now, 10 years later, the designer celebrates the 10 years Anniversary with time travel back to the origins of mankind, to the first fires of the Stone Age. Just as in the original game, there are the phases of the game rounds, the order of play and the technology cards. But The First Sparks plays faster, more directly; you are the chief of a clan and decide on its fate, you develop new ways of hunting and acquire new knowledge, hunt for food and learn to control fire.
