You run up to four factories in England in the late 18th century and want to own the most valuable block of your own shares. You hire workers and later try to replace them by cheaper machines. Hiring workers creates demand. In an action round you set prices for goods, improve factories, enhance quality and to sales promotion. After each action round one type of factory is active, and you pay for machines and workers there and then sell the products. You can also ship to the colonies, provided you have a contract with the East Indian Company. Two versions, Spinning Jenny (introductory) and Waterframe.
