Pax Pamir
Part of the Pax series, topic are the conflicts in Asia in the 19th century, in the shadow of the Pamir Mountains England and Russia rival for dominance.
Players are Afghan tribal leaders, allied with England, Russia or Afghanistans, loyalties can shift. When one of the nations achieves dominance, the player with most influence in this nation wins.
In your turn you have at least two actions – you can buy cards from the market or play cards into your tableau, which enables you to place units and to expand your tableau. This in turn gives you special actions to destroy units, disrupt tableaus and consolidate your wealth.
