On a journey of discovery and knowledge with the tiptoi pen and Robby the Number Robot: Robby has a craze for numbers and shapes and has made them his favorite food. He poses task and – if you solve it correctly – swallows the respective shape or number chip.

Robby is assembled from three parts and then – provided you did download the free software onto the stick – you can register this with Robby and choose the level of difficulty that you want to use. Level one is chosen if numbers and shapes are not yet known, in Level Two you get familiar with shapes, in Level three with numbers from 1 to 10, and then when both numbers and shapes as well as arithmetic operators are familiar, you can calculate up to 20 in Level Four.

When you have chosen the level according to the level of information, you decide if you want to feed numbers and shapes to Robby or if you want to play one of the mini games. In the feeding option Robby poses tasks and you must touch the chip with the correct solution with the pen, sometimes you might have to touch several chips or there can be several solutions. If you choose the mini games you can search for shapes and numbers, memorize shapes und number s for the longest chain of shapes or numbers. Or you can set up a row of numbers together with Robby, ascending or descending, or you try to guess the chip that Robby chose; he gives you a clue when you touch a chip, e.g. “My chosen chip is bigger than the one you just touched”.
