The Romans

A game on the history of Rome from her beginnings as a small kingdom to the republic and then to the Europe-wide empire. In each era there are her enemies, and at the end comes the Barbarian invasion. In the buildings of the capital, senators vie for power, and as a player you score victory points via developments. You begin with four senators, more are introduced via five buildings - they bring promotions, recruit legions, earn revenue and build cities, fortifications and fleets, and do lots more. As generals, you use them for deployment of troops on your own map board to expand your kingdom, republic and empire.
