Keyside

On an island with 12 harbors and innumerable quays, you use 18 workers = keyples for harbors, farms, markets, quarries, wheat fields and woods. Three rounds = years comprise the phases of landing and resolving harbors. In the landing phase, in your turn, you place a boat at a harbor, place a sailor from the boat at the harbor and also the corresponding tie, plus facultatively on of your Keyples. Other players can place a color die of the same or lower value and a keyple into that harbor. If you are out of dice, you start the resolve harbor phase. You select a harbor with one or several of your keyples, and all players with keyples in that harbor harvest the benefits of that harbor – resources, headland building opportunities, Keyple movement, Keyple recruitment and access to farms, markets and skill tiles. Keyples remain at the harbor unless moved due to harbor benefit. After three rounds, you score harbor scoring tiles, buildings and gems on your mat, headland tiles D, E and F as well as skill tiles and wood, quarry and wheat field tiles.
