Pura Vida
Fauna and flora in den national parks of Costa Rica, in remarkably richness of species and habitats. As a ranger, you want to expand the park while taking biodiversity and direction of movement into account. 75 tiles show a combination of one of five habitats and one of five animal species. A random tile begins your park; 12 tiles on the board represent the path for the rangers. A turn comprises either releasing animals into the wild or resting. To release animals, you move your ranger on a tile on the path and put the tile into your park, orthogonally adjacent to one already there, in direction of the arrow from outside the display, adhering to a limit of five tiles directly adjacent in a row or column. You score points if a newly placed tile meets criteria for biodiversity. For resting, you put your ranger on a free circle on the starting slot of the path. When all rangers are resting, the path is laid out again with 12 tiles. You win if you are first to reach or top a score of 20, OR with most points if the path cannot be fully refilled.
