Poodle Taxi

Poodles are romping in the park but need to avoid being used as a taxi by the obnoxious fleas. There are 48 cards in six colors, you use 24, 36 or 48 in relation to player numbers, always 2, 3 or 4 per color with an arrow pointing to the right, and 2, 3 or 4 per color with an arrow pointing to the left. You play one of three cards in hand to the left or right of the row and must, if the arrow on the new card now points to other cards, take all those cards for penalty points into your flea stack. If the color of the new card is already present in the row, you cover this card with the new card. When all cards have been played, you win with the lowest number of cards in your flea stack.
