Das Hochbeet von Schalottenburg

In the rivalry for the biggest vegetable areas, vegetable tiles are slid into the bed. 16 tiles are placed in a 4x4 grid surrounded by 2o open tiles, and you draw a face-down tile. Then rounds comprises phases Hochbeet-Gerangel and Gemüse-Wertung are played. In a turn of the Hochbeet-Gerangel you slide your tile into the bed, mark it with one of your markers and take the tile that was pushed out. When all players have placed all their markers, the phase of Gemüse-Wertung / vegetable scoring begins. You score for tiles carrying your marker and all orthogonally connected tiles of the same kind, but only if you score more points in a round for a vegetable type than in the previous round. If only three face-down tiles are on the board, you win at the end of the round with most points.
