Die Kartographin

Sequel to Der Kartograph, the core mechanisms are the same. Queen Gimnax issues edicts for reclaiming and mapping the northern lands, but the Dragul also lay claim the territories. in four seasons, you play rounds of three phases: Explore – the top card is laid out; Draw – all select one shape and one terrain type from the card and enter it into their map, within the map area, mirrored or rotated any way. For some shapes or marked squares, you receive coins. When the given time units of a season are spent, you score for fame points according to scoring cards with current edicts and for coins. After four scorings you win with most points.

Die Kartographin introduces new maps, new scoring cards, new exploration cards and ambush cards with individual abilities, as well as the new element heroes; they can neutralize monsters entered on the map.

Can be combined with Der Kartograph.
