42 ungulates need elephant help to cross the river, due to danger from lions and crocodiles. Five river crossings are laid out. The active player plays a card - a suitable ungulate is put next to a crossing and marked; an elephant takes the minimum three animals at a crossing to the other side, you take your marked animals for victory points; a crocodile eats the first animal at the crossing or animals depicted on the crocodile card - and then you draw a card. A lion is played immediately; he eats all animals at the crossing and then blocks the crossing. When no-one can play a card, you score animals you did collect.
