Balla Balla

On the table and through the hole

A vertical perforated panel is placed into the box bottom and thus forms a ball court. Each player is given four rubber foam balls of one color and in three different sizes - one big ball, two medium balls and one small ball - and must now through those balls through the holes in the panel into the box. On a signal of "3, 2, Balla Balla", given by the youngest player, all players try simultaneously to get their balls into the box; each ball must hit the table once before falling through a hole. When a ball jumps back out of the box it must again be thrown in correctly through a hole. Should a ball fall into the box from the top this is not a valid throw, either - you stop the game by calling "High Flyer" and take the ball out of the box. Then the game is continued on a signal of "Balla Balla".

If you have thrown all balls into the box correctly, you call "Stop" and all players score points for balls in the box: 3 points for a big ball, 2 for a medium one and 1 for a small ball; so the winner of the round scores eight points. Then all players take back their balls and a new round starts. After six rounds you win with most points.

In variants you can agree on minimum distances or assign balls by size to players of varying ages or have a right-handed player throwing with his left hand and vice verso, or you turn the perforated wall by 45° so that you face a corner corner, and so on; and you can of course invent your own variants.

Balla Balla! Pure fun! The holes have different sizes, but are all big enough, and of course you can throw any ball through any hole and of course Balla Balla is a fun family game, too!
