Atacama

2020 in the Atacama desert - gold, silver and copper have been found, to mine those resources you need to set up drilling rigs. Mining concessions are only awarded for two of the three resources. You alternate to place drilling rigs, they can never be orthogonally adjacent to another rig. When both have placed 14 rigs, the game is scored - one player scores rows, the other columns, but only those with a minimum of four rigs. Each rig on a resource spot for which you have a mining concession earns you one point, on a spot for which you lack the mining concession -1 point.

Version with buying of a mining concession in any turn of your choice, cost 1 drilling rig. Tactical version with three rigs of a different color for double points. In a game of four you use the back side of mining concession, two players each score columns and rows and all place 7 rigs.
