PLAYED FOR YOU
Fliegende Zeilen
write the best text!
Manuscripts have been muddled up for the poetry recitation and now you must use those flying lines for new texts, which means you change well-known verse lines into a comedy, a crime story or a boulevard press headline. Each player is given a pad, a pen and the evaluation cards in his color. Each round of the game comprises the phases of selection, creation and evaluation.
The reader of the round draws a task card and displays it. Then he rolls the die and reads out the corresponding task, that is, the kind of text you must compose. Then he rolls the die again three times, the resulting three-digit number determines the verse line in the verse booklet which must be used by all and is, to begin with, written down by all. Then, according to the task that was determined all players use the verse line for a crime story or a head line, within a time frame of 90 seconds. The verse line need not be used literally word by word, your creativity is on demand, because you need to convince your fellow players with your creation. When all are done or when the timer has run out, all players in turn read out their texts - comments are allowed, even by yourself on your text. Then all players evaluate the texts of all others and place one of their evaluation cards in front of each other player. All add up the points on cards received. After a number of rounds that was determined at the start of the game you win with most points.
A fantastic game for creative minds and for all those who love to play with words, under time pressure and with the aim to convince all others with the quality of the text. Literature with a difference!
