Each player is a lord and wants to assemble three retinues of heroes to fulfill his wideflung ambitions, always in rivalry with other lords. At the start of your turn you draw influence cards that you use to recruit heroes or to steal heroes and influence cards from other players. You have one action per turn, either playing and influence card or collect a retinue = four identical heroes or any four legendary heroes to provide special abilities. Suitable cards let you do more than one action per turn.
