16 tokens are spread out, snail side up. The active player turns over a token and then hides the snail at a location in the room that has the same color as the flower on the token, while the other players close their eyes. When the color is not to be found in the room, the token goes out of play and another one is turned up. Then all other players search for the snail, the player who hid it can help with hints. If you want, you can sing the snail song for the current color. For a variant, you can make the player left of the active player the only one who searches.
