PLAYED FOR YOU

Nichtlustig Fäkalini

Valueless toilets or tiger for two points

Dice give you magic tiles and thus points, Black Holes can lose you points. Point tiles show a tiger on one side and a rabbit on the other. “Black Hole” tiles are laid out showing a spiral. Dice show mixes of Top Hat (=Fäkalini), Duck, Toilet, Black Hole and Rabbit.

As the active Fäkalini you first place your own die on the Fäkalini spot on the board. Then you roll all other dice and decide to do plumbing or magic. If you want to do plumbing you put all Toilets in your roll into the top row of the board. If you do magic, you place one die – no Toilet – into the bottom row. Remaining dice are re-rolled and you again choose plumbing or magic, etc. until all dice are placed.

A Duck can – in case of you doing magic – replace a die showing a Tiger, Rabbit or Black hole symbol in the bottom row. A Fäkalini (Top hat) can be placed, instead of you doing plumbing or magic, onto the Fäkalini spot on the board to replace your own die; this die’s owner is now Fäkalini, but you remain the active player. Dice removed by Duck or Top Hat are re-rolled. When all dice are placed, toilets and ducks are worthless. For grey dice in the bottom row the current Fäkalini gets all that shows on those dice; the other players receive what there dice indicate in the bottom row. When all point tiles or black holes are given out, you score the black holes and then win with most points.

Nichtlustig or Unfunny describes it rather well sometimes, when loos are placed or if you are assigned a Black Hole, which then of course will cost you points, what else!

All the same, a cute, albeit somewhat wicked dice game with a familiar motto.
