Catan needs a central trading post, so the first town
is built, complete with artisans and merchants, pub and church. The active player
rolls the dice. All players in the row thus determined receive gold or power
cards, then the active player can build using gold and
building certificates. After that he can place a building certificate in the
active row and can use bonus actions against payment of power cards. Smaller
buildings can be built over, church parts replace any building. Victory points
are placed on buildings, the first player to place all
10 points wins the game
