Cascadia Landmarks

Habitats for wilderness animals in the region of Cascadia in the Northwest of North America; you select and place wilderness tiles into your habitat and settle animals on them; five scoring cards give you patterns for settling and their scores. At the same time ,you want to achieve the biggest connected areas in each of the five terrain types. The active player checks on overpopulation in the display of four terrain tiles with one animal each and then takes a combination - you can spend a cone to select animal and tile from separate displays or to draw from the bag. Then you place the terrain and can then put the animal in an empty terrain if this terrain depicts the animal type, or else discard it. Finally, you replenish the display. When all tile stacks are empty, you score animals, your biggest terrain of each type, a bonus if you have the overall biggest terrain of a type, and remaining cones.

The Landmarks expansion introduces new landscape features, and also new scoring cards, starting landscapes, animal discs and wilderness tiles as well as enough components for a game with up to 6 players.
