Anno 1800
Anno is one of the most successful range of computer games, beginning with t Anno 1602 in 1998. Anno 1503 and Anno 1701 were both transposed into board games by Kosmos. The most recent release is Anno 1800, set at the begin of industrialization - you develop your home island and explore/use additional islands in the Old and New World. You have one action per turn; options are Expand, Play and activate population card, Interchange population cards, Enhance work power, Upgrade, Expand Old World, Explore New World, Take expedition cards or Celebrate a City Festival. Actions are paid for with resources which are won by placing population cubes in five types - Farmers, Workers, Craftsmen, Engineers or Investors - on the respective production buildings or you trade resources from other players.
