Abrakadabrien

Fortunately, chaos magician Dragondoel has made himself disappear and players can restore order in Abrakadabrien. Terraincards and treasure cards show towers, guardians, forests and rivers. Nine terrain cards are drawn one by one for a face-down 3x3 grid, and, during all the game, cards are placed in the grid in direction left to right and top to bottom. In the portal next to each area there are two face-down cards. All play simultaneously: You pick up the cards in the portal to your right, look at them and – when to portal to your left is empty – can either replace a card in your grid by one from your hand, open-faced, or turn up a card in your grid or swap places for two cards in your grid. Then you put the two cards in your hand to the portal to your left and can continue play when there are cards in the portal to your right. In the grid you want to form terrain areas: Towers of three vertical cards in ascending values, gaps are allowed; rivers of three horizontal cards in ascending value from left to right, gaps are possible; forests of four cards in a 2x2 square, no double card values, and guardians in the four corners, again without double values. Completed areas can be scored between turns – you take them out of the grid and stack them for points - and give a bonus after replenishing the grid, a forest bonus is applied during replenishing. If you cannot replenish your grid, all finish their action and score if possible, and you win with most points. Expansions features ghosts, orders with dwarves, elves and giants, and also events. Variants are Zeiten des Konflikts and a team variant.
