Spaghetti

Tartufo or Alla Nonna

Spaghetti are a lovely dish, but not easy to eat without spilling or making a mess. This game challenges us to avoid spillage! 27 strings in yellow, red, green and black represent noodles of different flavor, four foam balls represent meat balls.

In the basic game Spaghetti di Base you take the big plate, put the well-entangled noodles on it and place three meat balls on top of the noodles. In the 20 seconds runtime of the timer, the active player tries to pull out one noodle after the other; if noodle or meat ball spill over on the table, the turn ends immediately. Rolling meat balls can be caught and taken, if they do not touch a noodle, or else you can take a meat ball at any time if does not touch a noodle, but also only one after the other. When the turn ends due to spillage or time running out, the next player continues with the remaining noodles and meat balls. When the plate is empty, all score for noodles, depending on color, and meat balls and you win with most points.

In der variant Spaghetti Difficili, you must use the small plate and add four meat balls on top of the noodles.

For Spaghetti Superiori you can choose the plate, four meat balls are added and six randomly chosen recipe tiles are displayed. If you manage within one turn, that is, in 20 seconds, to take all noodles and meat balls for a recipe while adhering to all rules, you take the tile for points. Ingredients drawn for a recipe, successful or not, are scored at the end of the game.

A fun family game for summer and sun, to pull out Spaghetti without spillage is a witty, nice challenge that reduces itself with every player of the round.
