Time Division

Two timelines merge and two temporal agencies - Black Watch and Golden Hourglass – must make their version come true to persevere in the flow of time. You are a member of one of the agencies and play either one era or a campaign of three eras, Ancient Egypt / Time of order and belief, The Dark Ages / Hard Choices and death, and 1980es / Economy is Key. Each era comprises the phases of Draft and Play. Drafting is done simultaneously, both draw three cards from the stack on the temporary slot and lay out one face-down card for themselves, one face-down for the opponent and throw the third card onto the independent stack; this is repeated until all 18 characters of the era are distributed. The Play phase comprises several rounds – first, the player with the coin, and then the other one, play a card from hand openly onto the decision slot; then influence values are compared and the coin goes to the higher value. The current owner of the coin decides which card is activated – its effect is resolved – and moved to the past, and which card is collected and goes to the influence area of the agency. This is repeated for all cards in hand, and then the temporal agency with the higher influence total wins.
