PLAYED FOR YOU

Game over

Blorks, Barbarians and princesses

Little barbarians search for their own princess in order to free her, must overcome Blorks in the dungeon labyrinth and find the key to the prison cage. 25 dungeon cards are laid out in a 5x5 grid, they show 2 keys, 1 transfer portal, and 4 imprisoned princesses in barbarians' colors, 2 Undefeatable Blorks and 4 Blorks each for each of the four types of weapons, and a few items that just happen to lie uselessly around in a dungeon. One weapon card for each of the four types is laid out next to the grid. Each player chooses his barbarian and puts him at one corner of the board, where he then enters the dungeon labyrinth.

In your turn you choose one of the four weapons and then turn over the next orthogonally adjacent card: If you find a Blork that can be defeated with your current weapon, or a princess or a key or the transfer portal, you can choose another weapon and go on, that is, turn over the next horizontally or vertically adjacent dungeon card. If you found the portal, you can continue anywhere! But if you encounter a Blork that cannot be defeated with your current weapon or even one of the two undefeatable Blorks, then it is "game over" for your barbarian for this round - all turned-up cards are turned back over again und you begin at the entrance again next round. If you manage to reveal a key and your own princess in the same turn, you win the game.

Game Over offers a simple but extremely nice memo version, the drawings are cute and the rules quickly explained; the game box is very easy to carry along, and the fun in playing is huge - in short, Game Over is a very attractive and very well-made fast and fun game!
