Caral

Caral in Peru, oldest settlement in South America. You build – 4500 years in the past – the pyramids of Caral. To do so, you need workers in quarries, enough movement range and enough resources cards. At the start of a year, the architect movement is determined by die; then all in turn have a turn of first movement and then action depending on the pawn location, the pawn must be in front of the architect! In the village, you place a pawn for worker, builder or priest. In the quarry you take stones, at the cult square draw two resources cards, at the animal market you get an alpaca and on your own building site you can move the builder and build. When a player reaches the central pyramid, the year ends and they become the head priest of the annual ceremony. All must sacrifice resources cards, any number but all of the same type and all of a different type than those of the head priest. After 7 years or when the 7th pyramid is complete, you score fame points for placed priests and for pyramids depending on completeness and number of levels.
