Der große Flusslauf

Animals hold a big race in the savannah. You race your five animals along the track and try to use the river for a shortcut. In each round you play a card from hand and move the depicted animal as stated or resolve the indicated action. Occupied spaces are not counted. Cards played remain on the table and you need the special action to take them back up. When the movement ends on a tree trunk in the river, the animal can use the flow of the water – river tiles are inserted into the river – to take a shortcut. If you do not leave the river on time, your animal might slide down the waterfall and has to start again. There is a winners‘ pedestal for each type of animal and you win with most victory points from positions of your own animals on the pedestal when someone has three animals at the finish.
