Savannah Park

You have your own savannah park and try to optimize it by forming the biggest possible herds of identical animals, by protecting animals against bush fire and to give them access to watering holes. At the start you place animal as stated in your park. Then the starting player of the round selects one animal - yellow side showing - from his board, then he and all other players relocate that animal in the park, turning it over to the other side. The cleared slot is marked with the meerkat pawn. The new slot chosen must be empty and be either sand, tree or grass. When all tiles are turned over, the arrangement is scored - you remove animals for bush fires and then score points for free grass slots and the biggest herd of each type, watering holes are multiplying points. There is also a solo version, a version for children and a version for variable set-up.
