PLAYED FOR YOU

Dragon Run

Charge, Flee or Cry

Players have done it! They have looted the Dragon’s Cave, but unfortunately they have woken up the dragon, too, and must no try to escape alive and with their loot.

The dragon board is set out, the dragon begins, depending on the number of players, on case 8 to 5 of the track. Each player has an Adventurer card, location cards are set out and each player is dealt four treasure cards. In your turn you can charge courageously, flee cautiously or cry like a baby. Once in a turn you can use the special ability of your adventurer. Unfortunately, an adventurer can only be hit twice, then he dies and is out of the game.

When you charge courageously, you reveal the top location card and resolve its effects - you either draw a new card or your turn ends or you receive treasures or you move the dragon, take a hit and the dragon gets calmer by one level. If you cautiously flee, you discard a treasure of minimum value 1 and then roll - when the result is higher than the the number of remaining location cards the dragon calms down by one level; if not, you draw a location card and implement its effects. If you want to cry like a baby, you discard a treasure of minimum value 2 and do nothing. When the dragon calms down to level 0 - moon and stars on the track - he falls asleep, the game ands and you win if you hold the most valuable treasures. When all players have left the game before that, the dragon is the winner, naturally.

A cute parody on the usual dungeon crawls; of course, there is a bit of tactic in the game, but basically you are confronted with chance, but, well, can you really plan far ahead in a dungeon?
