Traders frequent the market of Timbuktu to offer precious carvings, players try to win the most valuable collection. Each player has a starting capital for use in auctions for cards. 30 cards show a number and one of 6 colours. A turn comprises uncovering of 1-2-3-2-1 etc. cards and auctioning of the cards, the cards are auctioned as a package and the bid of the winner is distributed in relation to height of bid and end number of the cards. As the game advances players may not use a bid ending in the number of one of the cards in front of them.
