The King Commands

 

Camelot has fallen, King Arthur is dead, Merlin is missing and the remaining Knights of the Round Table fight each other for bags of gold, using King Arthur’s Crown, Merlins Crystal Ball and the magic sword Excalibur. You start with 6 cards. At the start of a turn you draw two cards and can then play a crown or a crystal ball. Then you must attack another knight or discard cards, unless you did play a crown and abdicated. An attack by Excalibur cannot be fended off with a shield. For the Crystal ball you can draw cards, retrieve a card from the discard pile or look at the hand of another player. For the crown you can abdicate and place the crown into your scoring pile, or you can let others discard cards or get cards from them or attack without possibility of defense for your opponent. Played swords and other cards you won go into your personal scoring pile.
