Ys
As
merchant-princes of Ys players buy and sell precious
stone with the help of their brokers and so collect gold in the form of victory
points. The 11 brokers have a value ranging from 0 to 4 depending on their
trade competence. Ships full of gems land in the harbours and players must form
majorities with their brokers to get gems and to raise their value and draw
cards. Each of the four rounds consists of setup, turn order, placing of
brokers and scoring. There is a tactical variant, a variant for fast play and
the possibility to play with 6 players.
