Conflict of Heroes Storms of Steel: Kursk 1943

At the start of the game you choose a battle and set up the scenario, then you play in rounds: Deactivate used units, smoke, re-set BAPs, actions cards, determine targets, use artillery, prepare support, roll for initiative. Finesse is introduced by the action card, height differences on the board, smoke, grenade launchers and the different kinds of movement, fortifications and obstacles.

Part 2 is a simulation of history’s biggest tank battle, amended by air attacks of Stukas and battle planes. The ground troops are amended by veteran cards and special weapons cards, which you can use to compose units and targets following your own ideas. Part 2 is a stand-alone game based on the same rules as Part 1.
