Mainline is a redesign of 1829, the basic game fort he series of railway games called 18xx, that has reached cult status by
now. Players build and use raiway tracks, buy company shares and engines,
the game has a strong economic component. In this redesign players receive
shares to choose from. One can also buy shares from the discard pile, tiles can be upgraded anytime from yellow to green and
brows, independently from game phases.
