The power struggles in medieval Europe are an unending source for game ideas, in this game players want to place monasteries on the board and place senators in the courts of the various regions. Players have cards for those regions, which allow them to set down monasteries and senators on the board. In phase 1 players only place monasteries, in phase 2 monasteries and senators, the maximum of senators that can be in a court equals the highest number of monasteries in one color in that province. In phase 2 players also score for majorities of senators in courts connected by special numbered lines. A fast game with simple rules that offers lots of tactical possibilities.
