The city states of Ancient Greece rival for glory, progress and power; players each represent one of those city states and look after population growth, development of culture, waging war against neighbors and erecting magnificent buildings and temples, because you need the favors of the gods to become the ruling power on the Peloponnesus. Each game round comprises the phases Worship and Upkeep. In the worship phase you place priests and hold ceremonies, always begun by the starting player. You place your priests and receive the corresponding favor. In the upkeep phase 6 steps are executed one by one: Resources limit, population limit, use buildings, collect tribute, collect priests and change starting player or end game when four Glory Bonuses have been collected. Then you score Victory points according to the location of your progress markers.
