On a wooden hex-shaped board with 37 dents 18 balls
are positioned along the rim and two in the middle according to the rules, each
player chooses a colour and tries to be the first to arrange four balls in his
colour in a line. In his turn a player chooses one ball in his colour and one
neighbouring ball of his opponent and moves both together as
far as he wants or as far as possible. One never may move a single ball
or two balls of one colour. An alternate move is to exchange two balls. One may
not reverse one’s last move made in the turn before.
