Die Papalapagos-Spring-Käfer

The North and South beetles compete against each other, the orientation of the head shows the team the beetle is a member of. The team to first reach the opposite end of the island wins the game. The active player moves one of his beetles, only forward, straight or diagonally, never back, a beetle can jump over beetles onto a free spot. An opponent’s beetle that was jumped over is turned on his back and remains neutral, if he is jumped over again he is turned back and the player can choose his orientation. A beetle must jump as far as he can und one can jump either over one’s own or the opponents’ beetles, always over neutral ones.
